RepliWeb MFT v 2.4.1 extends secure file transfer to essential Microsoft Office applications

February 3rd, 2009 - RepliWeb, a recognized leader in the managed file transfer market, today announced the release and immediate availability of RepliWeb Managed File Transfer (RMFT) v 2.4.1. This release focuses on improving the end user experience and making secure file transfers a more transparent activity. RMFT v 2.4.1 includes rapid file transfer capabilities straight from essential Office 2007 applications, from Explorer folder/file views, and by way of an intuitive RMFT desktop client. RMFT v 2.4.1 also extends support to the Apple Safari browser.
Like RMFT's innovative SharePoint connector, the new Office 2007 add-in reflects RepliWeb's commitment to strengthen interoperability with key Microsoft business applications. RMFT's integration with Office enables users to send files securely with audited delivery, straight from Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Users can also "right-click-send" a file or folder from Windows Explorer. Sending files via RMFT, business users gain speed, reliability, security, none repudiation, and full auditing when sending files to internal or external entities.
