Govern & Control
ROSS looks to the following components and more:
- Job Delegation - Assign pre-configured jobs to non-privileged users (developers) to submit jobs on-demand through an intuitive ROSS Web-UI. Job delegation can accelerate release cycles, free up IT resources, and reduce deployment errors.
- Approvals - Allows organizations to achieve "best practice" standards for change control within SharePoint. User-specific actions are captured in detailed reports to enhance the approval process.
- Comprehensive or Selective Deployments - Organizations may choose to deploy a full site or a selection of solutions, functional elements, and associated content on a per job basis.
Administrators can include/exclude any logical combination of elements from a site collection down to the file and/or item level. One may also filter by metadata and content type.
